When I was in Okinawa, spiders there can get mutant size and scary as Hell. My uncles dog was barking and scratching at the bottom of the refrigerator, trying to get something. I peeked underneath and saw a huge hairy brown spider underneath staring back at me. It was about 4" across. My uncle said its a "young one and will grow a couple more inches....but not to worry cause they are harmless." O.o **** that...if I saw a spider that big in my home, I'd curl up in a fetal position and cry.
