Only one will survive...decisions decisions
Move the bird or buy another cage so that one is away from it and one is by it.
Separate the birds, duh
just turn the mirror around so he can't see his reflection and when you need it, just deal with its constant screeching till you're done lol.
Put them in different rooms
Give them away
Separate cages. Done!
Since this sounds like a fairly new predicament either just leave the mirror in there until the new parakeet gets used to it or put the mirror higher up or in a corner where the other parakeet doesn't have to see it. Since by 'parakeet' I assume you mean 'budgerigar' as soon as it gets dark the bird will go quiet so you shouldn't have an issue during the night, especially if you cover them up so they don't start talking at 4am.
To be clear, we are talking about a tiny toy mirror in the cage, not a human mirror, right?
Keywords
Get them separate cages or a cage with a bottom and top level that one only has access to.
That's quite a predicament you see your self in..
