Today, I told my boyfriend I wouldn't be able to get any time off work to go to Mexico with him, and that we'd have to get our tickets refunded, and reschedule. He said not to bother, and that he already had someone else in mind to take with him. FML

Today, I had to cancel a plane ticket to a friend's wedding, because first he gave me the wrong date, after which his fiancée cut me from the guests because of Covid safety. Instead of paying $600 to be in the ceremony, I'm paying $400 to not go anywhere because the ticket could only be partially refunded. FML

Today, I found out the time I'd requested off for a trip in 2 months, that my boss said that I could go on, wasn't fully processed, just in case he decided I couldn't go. He told me the second part after I'd bought no refund tickets for shows for both me and my girlfriend. FML

I'm going to get down voted for saying this, and I almost (ALMOST) feel bad for saying it, but if you are over weight what makes you think ANYONE wants to see you in a bikini? A one piece would be much better suited. Anyway FYL OP your boyfriend is a dick (not saying I'm better but if she were my girlfriend I wouldn't have said anything to her or I would have went about it in a better way) Since I am not though, no reason to hold back.

does the word "IF" mean anything to you? No I don't know and yes I said "IF" I agree with OP, but I also don't want to see someone 350lbs overweight waddling down the beach in a thong bikini. Unless you have a chubby fetish or something I doubt you do either, don't lie. My comments are usually harsh, but they are honest and generally follow the consensus of the society even if the society won't publicly admit to it.
