I don't tip at all, I live in australia so maybe it's different here?
hahaha awh poor cashier. that's pretty funny, actually.
STOp leaving huge comments yo
wow that cashier is a giant ass! how cheap on her part to even comment on one dollar. shame on both sides but more for her for showing off how cheap she is
What a bitch, I'd have crossed it out. Honestly, I don't tip for take-out, tips are how you show gratitude for the service you get when you dine in. There's no service in getting handed a receipt and then getting handed a bag of food a few minutes later.
I'd ****** leave nothing after that. it's expected, yes, but the amount is the customers decision. also, it was takeout wtf did she do to get a tip?
Take attention away from her tables who are tipping to make sure your order was correct bagged properly and ready for you. She could be swamped inside and still be expected to take extra time to get your stupid order together.
I would take the tip off completely for such an ingrate! She had to be 16 because no one in their right mind would judge some one for giving them money! Technically, you don't have to tip--it's just expected out of you. If anything, her tip should have been, "Mind your own damn business."
In America it is a law that you have to tip in some states

What does it matter if she saw you do it or not? She would have seen it crossed out in a little bit anyway. It's a weird thing that you would bother to cross it out and lower it by only a dollar, seeing as how a dollar is relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it's just weird as opposed to horrible. Plus, it was only take out, people don't normally tip on take out at all so if I were her, I'd feel grateful to have even gotten a couple dollars.
I think what he means is that he wants the waiter to make the night good by providing good service and that they should have to work for a big tip and not just expect it
