Okay it may not be LIKELY that the guy she met on the internet is a freak, but there's never any way to know for sure. With the number of kidnapped people posters, news reports of missing people, and discovered bodies I'd have to guess that murder happens more often then we realize. There's no foolproof way of making sure your online date is right in the head so it probably wasn't a good idea for OP to give the guy her address. There are a lot of freaks on the internet, if you don't believe me watch To Catch a Predator one time.
