Then you should have retracted your compliment saying that she cheated. You don't compliment guys on their muscles if you know they've been using steroids, do you?

she probably had a spine issue such as scoliosis and had a major surgery to correct it, followed my months of regaining her core strength. maybe it's a delicate issue and a hard part in her life. she still could have said thank you though.

I've had the same surgery. lots of people comment on my posture but I usually joke about it. it's really not that bad? there's no excuse to be rude
