Today, I sat to the right of a girl I really like. I passed her a note asking her to homecoming. She read it, then hurriedly passed it to a hideous girl sitting on her left, who said yes, then hugged me. FML

Today, I was going to ask this girl I love to homecoming. I set up a scavenger hunt, and my friend led her through it. At the end of the scavenger hunt I had a note that said, "Homecoming?" She said yes and hugged my friend. When I told her it was me who was asking, she laughed and said no. FML

so its wrong to think a girl is unattractive? so do you say "yes" to every guy who asks you out, and you wouldn't dare call a guy ugly or unattractive? I hate this double standard where whiny fat girls say "ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL HOW DARE YOU NOT SAY YES!!" but have no problem gossiping about the ugly guy that just tried to ask your friend out. sorry but this isn't a perfect world of flowers and butterflies and unicorns where every girl is a princess.

how the **** do you think you know the personality of this girl? some ugly girls might have a nice personality, but many of them (even if probably not as a high percentage as in general humans) don't. I hate all this comments on FML about "I bet she is great" or "he doesn't deserve you" or crap like that. All you have to judge from are 170 characters. That's not enough to tell the personality of someone. Also, why are you so ******* sexist? Guess what, women do stuff like that all the time, too. Have you ever seen a girl going to dance with the nerd of the school because he might have had a nice personality? It's basic human nature (and has nothing to do with the possession of a penis) that a lack of good looks overwrites all the nice personality one might have, at least in 90% of the cases.

You might be right that the girl doesn't have a nice personality but you aren't right about girls not liking ugly guys with great personalities. My friends (male and female) always make fun of me because I "don't have standards" when it comes to how attractive a guy looks. Personally, I didn't even think they were ugly until months after the brake ups.
