I think it would be hilarious to see you running towards a Hummer backing out, especially after someone tried to warn you when you were only walking toward it first. Seriously though, how could you NOT see a Hummer coming at you?
Don't feel too bad. Your crush was obviously already looking at you if he noticed a hummer about to run over you. The fact that he was staring at you is a good thing, right?
THis has to be made-up! It looks like it was inspired by Twilight.
You didn´t saw/heard a Hummer going back? they are ig and noisy....YDI
Sounds like a scene from a horrible Wayans brother movie. Running at each other, slow-mo, arms wide.. and then ***SMACK*** right into a truck backing out. Good relationships always start with a story. This could be yours.
I now dub you "dumb and hummer" #22 .... all i could do is stand there with an open mouth and shake my jazz hands
I cannot picture this scenario at all. Are you sure the person was waving to warn you? Who waves to warn someone of a car backing up? You were probably not in position to be hit by the Hummer before you "ran quickly" to meet your friend. It sounds more like you ran quickly to meet the person and then put yourself in position to get hit by the Hummer while it was backing out. If you're running quickly, you'd be able to get out of the way of the Hummer in about 3 steps, so I don't see how your friend warns you about it and then you run toward him/her and into the backing up Hummer. Was s/he driving the Hummer? That's the only this makes sense, but it'd make you look like even more of an idiot.
I don't really see why anybody said "you deserved it". That's terrible. I don't think that there are many people out there that are completely aware of their surroundings at all times, especially in moments of excitement such as this one. Luckily it's just 2 broken ribs. Painful for awhile, disabling for awhile, but not the end of the world.
Who the hell waves to someone who is about to get hit. What a jackass. Hummers are the most obnoxious things out there. Well hey, maybe he'll visit you in the hospital? I hope you feel better. I don't think you deserve it, everyone gets on here and act so high & mighty like they, NEVER, did something that would compromise their well being in anyway.

FYL and YDI FYL because he couldn't do any worse at trying to get you to stop; seriously waving = hi/come here YDI for not paying attention to your surroundings have a quick recovery from the ribs, those SUCK to have broken cant do anything
Ouch indeed. But I wouldn't just wave to signal "Stop!"...
