Today, I sent my boyfriend of three and a half years a text message spilling my heart out, saying I'll love him forever, and how much I appreciate him in my life, that I want to be the mother of his children, etc. His text back to me? "Are you drunk?!?" FML

I think the "mother of your children" part probably prompted his question more than anything else

Yeah that's a pretty awkward thing to send over a text..

Ya think you jus freaked him out. What you feel may not neccesarily mean he feels the same way too

Hm, as unfortunate as this is I think he is not as serious about your relationship as you seem to be :( :( Or maybe, hopefully, just not ready for such life-turning decisions like whom to have children with..

The "mother of his children" part was pretty unnecessary...A message like that usually attracts that kind of response.

to his credit I'd say the same thing if I got that text.

Ya, that sounds like the appropriate response tbh :P

That's just weird, even if you have been dating him for 3 years, to send via text. Via text!? What is technology making us into.... You told him you wanted to make babies with him... in a text message.

YDI....i would have thought the same thing if i read something like that lol

Wow, some people don't even say that much when they're getting married. That's a bit crazy just too randomly say. It's like that one commercial where the guy gets a sandwich from his coworker only to get a glimpse of his future with her... starts out nice, but suddenly shes stalking him outside his house in the rain screaming 'I WANT YOUR BABIES'.

Yeah, the whole baby statement probably scared him a bit. lol

over text? it's so impersonal anyone would think it's a drunk text
