Today, I sent my boyfriend of three and a half years a text message spilling my heart out, saying I'll love him forever, and how much I appreciate him in my life, that I want to be the mother of his children, etc. His text back to me? "Are you drunk?!?" FML

I think the "mother of your children" part probably prompted his question more than anything else

Yeah that's a pretty awkward thing to send over a text..

The only time I ever text things like that to anyone is when I'm wasted. Do you normally tell him things like this? If not, he probably just thought your inhibitions were down and that's when you got up enough courage to tell him your true feelings. Next time, tell him in person when it's that important. A simple "I love you!" text gets the point across just fine for the other times you're thinking of him.

Don't take it personally...That's not a normal thing to text

Texting is bad, I understand you felt like doing that right there but... now you know why it's wrong :/

Not really the sort of thing you talk about in a text?

Yeah, that's where I'd probably say "put down the bottle and/or knife." Definitely not something you come out and say over a text.

I'd ask the same thing. Over text message? At least profess your feeligns in person.

lol wow. That is abit creepy though You should have called him and said it like a normal person XD

if you are THAT serious about him then you dont say all that in a FRIGGIN' TEXT MESSAGE. why not just write a note and hide it in his locker you immature moron!!!!!

Ha. Reasonable question. When I'm drunk I text people and tell them I love them. Of course I don't say I want to carry their babies, but whatever. ;-)

LOL 30. : ) OP: Seriously? Through a text? ... Are you ten?
