I once wanted to be a vet, but the thought of having to put down so many animals turned me away. I realized I made a good decision as even reading this FML makes me cry.

Your brave for doing that. It's your dream job for a reason. You probably helped those dogs/cats get over a lot of pain. Think of yourself as an angel of mercy.

Im a vet nurse also training to be a vet. that would be sooo heart breaking :( congrats on becoming a Vet :) there will be plenty of amazing days & unfortunately sad ones :(

That's why I changed my choice of profession. I can not handle being able to put down cats and dogs.

Just think of it as getting the worst out the way and the best is yet to come. I dread this happening to me when I first qualify but you've got your whole career ahead of you there'll be more good than bad I'm sure :D
