What did you expect? This seems to be a theme with vets on FML. Do you not know that's a part of the job and as a new vet it's likely going to be you responsibility. YDI, and you should have been prepared for it.

#109, 17 euthanasias in one day? That's hellish for anyone, no matter how "prepared." And probably why the senior vets gave the new guy the duty, rather than spoiling their days.

No one is ever prepared for putting down an animal no matter how many times you've done it! What the hell is wrong with you no one deserves somethin like that and it's helping the animal anyway it's rids them of their pain

but think about when some 6 year old girl comes there crying because her hamster is sick... You will cure the hamster and become the little girl's hero! thibk about the her face when you tell her that the hamster is fine. Shiny eyes and stuff!!
