ALSO, "fishing for compliments" from your boyfriend isnt really something to judge...sometimes if you're feeling low, a nice compliment makes you feel better, even if it was fished for...and she may have just generally have been feeling fat and it does actually happen...it's cool...a lot of guys don't even know what you want to hear which is even lamer LOL...

Complimenting a girl is easy as hell and it doesn't take a poet to come across as genuinely sweet, caring, flirty, etc. The problem is with idiotic girls that don't know how to bait compliments when they're trying to force their man to say them. Trap questions fail so much because you're not inviting the guy to compliment you; you're inviting him to either A. speak his mind or B. get annoyed because he knows the game you're playing. The guys that don't know the trap game at that point aren't going to coo and nurse you with praise because they neither understand how your mind works nor what they're "supposed" to do.

If you think that you are fat, you probably are. Coming from a guy, we don't like to be put in a position where we can either tell you the truth, which is normally speaking our mind, or tell you a lie in order to keep you happy. Know why? Because if we choose the former option, the girl treats us as if we have gone out of our way to insult her. If we choose the latter, we doom ourselves into being stuck with someone who probably is getting fatter but won't do anything involving exercise in order to fix that, all for a few minutes of happiness. And guys can tell when you're fishing for compliments. I dunno about most guys, but if a girl has to fish for a compliment, she's being a bitch in my book.
