Today, my boyfriend gave me a teddy bear keyring. I had to explain that although many grown women like cuddly toys, I don't. And even if I did, a filthy, soaking wet bear he found in a puddle on the street is not a nice gesture, despite his suggestion I can just wash it in the machine. FML

Today, my boyfriend gave me a teddy bear. I thought it was a sweet thing to do, until I saw him open a slit in its back while visiting later in the day and removing a bag of weed. He gave me a teddy bear just so he could smuggle drugs past my parents. FML

Today, while at Six Flags my boyfriend won a huge stuffed animal for me. After a whole day of carrying it around, when he dropped me off he told me that he wants the stuffed animal back. He just didn't want to carry it around all day. FML

I know what you mean #49. My boyfriend right now used to be my best friend for years and he knows what I love. this year for x-mas everybody kept telling him that he should get me some kind of jewlry or a teddy bear or something stereotypical. but he knows i love funky hats and thats what he's getting me. he even double checked with me to ask if that was an ok gift. i mean personally i don't hate teddy bears i love them. but i just love funky hats more. and for all the haters hating on OP. dude. she didn't know and she felt really bad after cause she knew she made him feel like a total ass when he was just trying to be really sweet. yes it was probably a good idea to tell him in advance. but maybe she was like me and a lot of people i know and didn't even expect him to get her a gift. i know i never expected to get anything from any of my bfs. personally. i was just happy if they remembered.
