Today, I told my boyfriend that I was going to stop drinking, since I have been having some problems with alcohol and some of my relatives are alcoholics. He later broke up with me, saying he couldn't be with someone who "chose to be boring." FML

He is the boring one because he thinks you need alcohol to have a good time!

I'm sorry OP. Don't listen to that turtle dick. I know plenty of exciting sober people. Good for you for making an effort! Good luck!

You know, he's probably somewhat of an alcoholic himself. Nevertheless, becoming a tee-totaler is boring, you should have just swapped vices rather than give up one. Take up crystal meth and become a juggalo -- I'm sure then he'll find you plenty ******' interesting;)

pfft! alcohol deff makes for some good times n some good ******!

Yeah and for some unwanted pregnancies / STDs...

Grab me the shotgun Martha, we're havin' idjit tonight! ...But in all seriousness, I can't tell if you're trolling or just a pathetic, butthurt preteen. Get over yourself, you're just one out of hundreds of people that don't get FMLs submitted. There are people that have tried over a hundred times to no avail-you've tried four. So suck it up or piss off.

"If you're bored, then you're boring." --Harvey Danger If he can't think of a single source of sober entertainment, he's unimaginative and probably an alcoholic himself. Also, you're much better off with him leaving. A person like that (even if he was okay with your sobriety) would end up being like a child you have to babysit--you'd be the sober one who has to drive him around and keep him out of trouble. You're better off considering your own well-being and finding someone who doesn't spend every weekend in the drunk-puking-hungover-drunk cycle.
