Maybe she wanted to date someone with a reasonable dream. Creative pursuits are great and all that, but it's not very often that you get a huge record deal and become completely famous. I don't think you understand how much how good a band is doesn't even matter with fame. It's all luck. And secondly, I bet your music sucks anyway. No offense, but there are way too many wannabees who just can't play.
