Bros before hoes, always. She doesn't have to like your music, but if she wont respect it (take it seriously) or your band time, than she can **** off. It doesn't matter if you're the next indie rock hero or some shitty Green Day cover band, your band is real to you and that's what matters.

I've a feeling, and this could just be woman's intuition but, I've a feeling your band is like all the other generic student bands out there. Oh, sure, you can play a guitar, but it's not like you sound any different than anyone else who can. Neither does your voice, or your songs. (I'm looking at you, asses in my college who think we want to hear your stupidity in our Subway)

Big deal. You're probably just a teenager that plays in the garage with his friends and thinks he's a rock star. Now I know some great rock stars did begin that way, but this is a day and age where basically everyone who can play two notes on a guitar thinks they should be in a professional rock band. Most of them shouldn't. Don't expect everyone to care about your music, even your girlfriend. If she's treating you like crap just for playing that's one thing, but just because she doesn't care much about it doesn't mean your life sucks. Get over yourself and apologize to your girlfriend for putting your stupid band before her and if you're lucky she'll give you another chance.
