Today, I took my 6-year-old son to visit his grandmother, as the doctors say she only has days left to live. Minutes after we arrived, he leaned in close and told her that she's going to hell. FML

YOU raised him. He's six, he doesn't know better, he only knows what you have taught him.

What kind of devil child are you raising???

He probably overheard someone talking about people going to Hell when they die, but he didn't actually understand what Hell is.

He's six. He probably doesn't even know what it means.

Little demonspawn...I wish this was posted today that way it could have been 666 (via his age and then the date).

~Out of the mouth of babes~ First off, the kid had the guts to actually say what he was thinking(possibly what other people were saying/thinking as well) directly to her face. That shows more courage than anyone who posts anything anonymously. Let's just say for arguments sake that the kid has gone to church his whole life and learned their teachings along with whatever he has picked up from the rest of his environment merging with his young, hungry mind and innocence forming his own sense of morality and justice giving him a reasonable idea of where one might end up on the scales of "Heaven and Hell". Being raised in a very strict and religious family in a highly abusive environment, I have seen the evil that goes on in life as well as within families. Before I was five I understood about the balances of good/evil, right/wrong, crime/punishment to an extensive degree. For all we know his grandmother could be/ have been his very own worst nightmare his whole life or a devil to someone he love(d/s) and he is just letting her know that she will be judged for her "sins" and sent to "Hell" as punishment for her actions on this earth. It probably wasn't the best time to tell grandma but at least she has/had some time to prepare for the hot weather.

Maybe dad manufacturer this response?
