Today, I took my girlfriend to Taco Bell since it's her favorite place to eat. I thought it'd be cute to get one of the sauce packets that says "Will you marry me?" on it and give it to her all cute-like. She thought it was adorable. While we were leaving, she threw it out. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. Thinking I was being cute I spelled out "Marry Me" in alphabet soup, because that's her favorite. She took one look at it and started to laugh. She then began to spell out "no". She still ate the soup. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to a very nice restaurant. I thought it would be a good place to pop the question. I gave the ring to the waiter and asked him to put it on her dessert plate. When she saw it she picked it up, put it down and said "no". Then she started to eat the dessert. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years. I took the whole day to cook a nice meal, and stuck the ring in a cookie that I was going to give to her. In the middle of the dinner I was holding the cookie under the table, about to give it to her. My dog ate it. FML

was she supposed to keep it forever? i don't know about YOUR taco bell, but in the one where i live about 80% of them say "will you marry me" i get that packet almost every time i grab sauce. but i'll start saving them just in case TB is seriously proposing. YDI

My fiance proposed at the beginning of August while we were out at a 5 day concert deal. After we went back to our tent he handed me a ring box and had a Taco Bell hot sauce packet with "Will You Marry Me?" on it with the ring. He had got that packet from our first date when we went to Taco Bell together. Yes, I kept the packet and I thought it was really sweet. So if it is something that you both like and cherish then it can mean something. But if it was just to be cute and not intentional then yeah there is no reason to keep it.
