Today, I took my girlfriend to Taco Bell since it's her favorite place to eat. I thought it'd be cute to get one of the sauce packets that says "Will you marry me?" on it and give it to her all cute-like. She thought it was adorable. While we were leaving, she threw it out. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. Thinking I was being cute I spelled out "Marry Me" in alphabet soup, because that's her favorite. She took one look at it and started to laugh. She then began to spell out "no". She still ate the soup. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to a very nice restaurant. I thought it would be a good place to pop the question. I gave the ring to the waiter and asked him to put it on her dessert plate. When she saw it she picked it up, put it down and said "no". Then she started to eat the dessert. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years. I took the whole day to cook a nice meal, and stuck the ring in a cookie that I was going to give to her. In the middle of the dinner I was holding the cookie under the table, about to give it to her. My dog ate it. FML

well what the hell did you expect her to do? keep it? ha your funny. firstly, don't ever do this if your planning on proposing. i mean honestly, is this the kind of thing you would tell people? its like "oh well, he/she proposed by...putting it on a sauce packet. Nice. secondly, you believe she would keep a sauce packet because it has the proposal words on it? Yeah, thats weird. I wouldn't want to keep a sauce packet because it says will you marry me on it. I mean seriously, she's/he is not going to save it.

awwww, if i was your gf i would've totally kept that. i wouldn't care if it went bad, i would still think it was the sweetest most spontaneous thing ever. good for you for being spontaneous. although, i am sorry she threw it out. cheer up, mate :D
