Today, I took my girlfriend to Taco Bell since it's her favorite place to eat. I thought it'd be cute to get one of the sauce packets that says "Will you marry me?" on it and give it to her all cute-like. She thought it was adorable. While we were leaving, she threw it out. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. Thinking I was being cute I spelled out "Marry Me" in alphabet soup, because that's her favorite. She took one look at it and started to laugh. She then began to spell out "no". She still ate the soup. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to a very nice restaurant. I thought it would be a good place to pop the question. I gave the ring to the waiter and asked him to put it on her dessert plate. When she saw it she picked it up, put it down and said "no". Then she started to eat the dessert. FML

Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years. I took the whole day to cook a nice meal, and stuck the ring in a cookie that I was going to give to her. In the middle of the dinner I was holding the cookie under the table, about to give it to her. My dog ate it. FML

Did you expect her to keep it and cherish it forever? It was a sauce packet! what was she going to do with it since you obviously had already eaten the food she would have put it on.

To be honest, what did you expect. the packet would get sticky and the sauce would get mouldy, and which would be worst- she throws it out as soon as possible or she kept it for a week, the sauce getting all gross. I think it is kinda sweet what you did, but don't take it personally. if that was me, I'd take a picture and throw it out or something. =D

I did kinda the same thing with my fiance... He had already proposed to me but i thought itd be cute anyway... We still have it because its unopened... Maybe she threw it away on accident???

That is how my fiance proposed to me && I think it was cute!! He went through the drive through && asked if he could have a sauce packet so he cld propose! He still got down on one knee that night && prosed with the ring!! I still have the packet && its been almost a year!! Seriously people...a proposal doesnt have to be all roses && fireworks!! Its not about how its done, its about who's doin it!! Maybe some of yall r just a lil too high maintnence to see that money isnt that important!
