Today, I tried to impress my girlfriend by vaulting over the side of a stairway rail parkour-style. Now I feel like I almost broke my legs, and judging by her hysterical laughter, she considers me more of a fool than a stud. FML

Today, at a ski resort, I tried to impress an attractive girl on the slopes and failed, horribly. I ended up with a mild concussion and some serious cuts after tripping, tumbling and hitting my head against the ground. I don't think she was impressed. FML

Today, I tried to impress a group of friends by jumping a set of stairs on my skateboard. I didn't realize the ceiling dropped down towards the bottom of the stairs and knocked myself out. FML

Today, while watching a movie with my girlfriend, I had to go to the bathroom. As I returned, I thought it would be cute to jump over the side of the couch and land next to her. I accidentally landed on her arm and broke her wrist. It wasn't as cute as I expected. FML

Today, I was walking home with my boyfriend. There's a short cut to my house by jumping a fence but he insisted that we take the long way because, "Girls don't jump fences." To prove him wrong, I jumped the fence. I fell and broke my leg. FML

Dude, she's already your girlfriend, you don't need to keep doing stupid things to try and impress her. There are PLENTY of ways to show her that you care and that you want her to be impressed with your boyfriend skills that don't involve doing stupid shit. Just tell her how you feel about her on a regular basis, if you have the cash to blow, surprise her with flowers or her favorite food for no reason. We aren't as hard to impress as it seems.

Dude. Sorry but I think this one's a YDI. I personally wouldn't be too impressed if my boyfriend tried to vault over the side of a stairway rail. I don't know many girls that would be impressed, to be honest. Maybe next time you're trying to impress the lovely lady you could get her flowers, cook her her favorite food, carry her to the bed (to show you have strength :D), then make sweet love to her and fall asleep together with her in your arms. THAT would impress a girl. :)

I like the fact that no one cares that she laughed hysterically at the fact that he nearly broke his legs. Imagine if a girl tried to impress her boyfriend and nearly broke some bones and all he could do is laugh at her. You guys would be up in arms over that.
