Today, I was at work with my dad. He told me the only reason he's letting me work with him over the summer is because I'm a friendless loser, and he didn't want me staying home getting fatter. FML

Um, Therapy. Now. For having a nasty piece of work like that for a dad. Sounds like he pounded you down before you had a chance and likes you there. Move out (or if you already have, avoid him like the plague), get some therapy, and believe in yourself.

He didn't want you parking on his couch, eating up his paycheck, while ordering capacious muumuus from QVC to cover your growing girth. Hopefully, you are harmless enough to not to damage his workplace.
