Today, I was babysitting a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. I asked her, "Do you got your bag?" And she said, "No. I have my bag. Babies say got. I'm a big girl." I am 20 years old and in the honors program in my college. I was corrected by a 4 year-old with a speech impediment. FML

Ah, I don't want to sound rude, but it's better not to speak that way to people with a speech impediment. I was born with one and it get's annoying when they start talking to me like an idiot when they don't understand what I'm saying...

just because she has a speech impediment doesn't make her stupid. you deserved that one.

Aside from agreeing with everyone saying that speech impediments do not make for intellectually lacking people, I have to ask, did you write this just to say you are in a college honors program? Is this honors program only in place to let entitled children feel good about themselves? Seriously, this post just makes you look like an ass over and over again.

You were wrong, you deserved to be corrected. Now have some backbone about it and stop whining on the internet about being corrected over one tiny mistake and trying to get one-up over a four-year-old with these pathetic "speech impediment" comments. I'd hate to see what you'd be like in an actual "FML" situation...

Honors program doesn't mean much if you're at a crappy college IMO. Also, college? or University? slight difference, so I'm just wondering. YDI... whether it was on purpose or by accident. That kid owned you.

she has a speech impediment she's not a dumbass

Her having a speech impediment has nothing to do with her knowing grammar. How did you get out of high school?

You are a nanny and you thought it was a good idea to talk to a four year old with a speech impediment in a way that would guarantee she would be made fun of mercilessly if she ever imitated it?

A speech impediment doesn't automatically equate to retardation, champ. You must not be in a very good school if you can be on the honor roll while sounding like a ******* juvenile delinquent.
