Today, I was curling my eyelashes in my bathroom and while I was counting to 5 my brother flung open my door. I jumped and ended up ripping out all my eyelashes. Now I have to wait until they grow back. FML

Today, while getting ready for a friend's wedding, I was curling my eyelashes. My cat decided to jump onto the towel rod. As I went to catch her, I ripped all the eyelashes out of one eye. I called my boyfriend crying. When he saw me, he laughed and said, "You look really surprised in that eye." FML

Today, I was tinting my own eyelashes when I missed my eyelashes and stabbed myself in the eye with the applicator loaded with dye. Now, I have beautiful lush black eyelashes, to match my half closed swollen red left eye. Sexy. FML

Today, I woke up to see that I had two black eyes from a cheerleading stunt gone wrong yesterday. I decided to curl my hair to distract from them. While curling my hair I accidentally burned my cheek. I now have two black eyes and a huge burn on my cheek. My extended family is coming tomorrow. FML

Oh, that sucks! If your bathroom door doesn't lock and you haven't killed your little brother yet, maybe try in a different room, like your bedroom next time (i.e., where the door does lock!)? Or better yet, just use mascara!

ive done that before! except it was only from the middle, so there was about a centimeter of eyelid that didnt have eyelashes right in the middle...it hurt so bad! and it took a long time for them to grow back. it was awful.

Speaking from experience, eyelashes DO grow back; it takes a month or two to fully grow back, but even within a week, they'll at least be sparse. No, they probably won't be as thick or full as before, but they'll be presentable. Eye make-up can cover the eyelids for now; I heard fake eyelashes actually stunt the growth of the eyelashes.

Eyelashes are so tiny and unnoticed, why would you waste your time curling them? You deserved it for wasting time on something so tiny and unnoticeable.
