aaand if she didn't stop and somehow made an FML out of it, the animal activists would **** the hell out of the comments.
So the "i killed an animal" trend is still alive on FML, I see. Idgaf about a groundhog, but congrats moron, you could have killed someone else.
Yup and it's booming
Never stop when you're just off a turn. Any fool will come flying around just like you and nail you. I understand your reasoning, but there are some things you just can't help.
YDI for trying to spare the life of a plague-spreading rodent.
Ya it's not animal cruelty to run over an animal when there's traffic and it's a hazard to stop. Of course you should try, but swerving around it when the opposite lane is empty is a better idea than stopping in the middle of the street. I've seen an accident before where someone swerved unexpectedly to avoid hitting something or other (not a person or car). So sometimes it's better to kill the thing than endanger yourself.
Here in Canada, you would be finding gophers. Here in Canada, you do stop for gophers. You swerve. Into them
All the time haha. When you think you hit it, you say "Did I/you get it?" and then turn around/check your mirrors to see if you got the thing. That's how it's done.
yes and when you feel the *whump whump* from the tires you shout SCORE!!!!!!!
Just wait until that day, when all of the gophers of the world finally realize what's going on, the will revolt with their king, a gopher the size of godzilla's baby mondozilla, and they will come and probably eat you, they might squish you but my guess is most likely eat you. so than i think that they will continue until the score has been evened, as long as you dont kill anymore than there are people in Canada than we will be fine because thats fine with the world...
Actually, everywhere except the US prefers Canada to the US Heres what i think of what you think of Canada http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpj1zgyfScM
Luckily for you, the law says that a victim of a rear-end crash cannot be blamed, so you can collect damages. Yay Lawsuits!
Actually, here in Canada, and in most states, hard braking in a traffic lane is considered dangerous driving, putting the op at fault. If she caused serious injury it can be considered aggravated assault. People do it all the time in front of semis in an attempt to get insurance payouts.
One thing i remember from drivers ed. was if its below the bumper and something is behind you... hit it... its not worth it ... should of checked your mirrors
"if its below the bumper and something is behind you" Hmm. That applies to small children. I'll have to remember that the next time the neighbourhood kids annoying the piss out of me.
Lmao, my dad drives a truck, his bumper is about 2 feet tall. Now I have excuse to run over my annoying sister.

YDI. Never stop in a travel lane when there are poor sightlines for traffic behind you. Just imagine the FML from the other guy's perspective. "Today, I was driving down the road and went around a sharp curve to suddenly discover that some dickless wonder had stopped his car in the middle of the road. With no time to react, I slammed into his car. Afterwards I asked him why he was stopped. His response? 'I was letting a groundhog cross the road.' FML"
You're not supposed to stop for animals on the road, as horrible as it sounds. A few years ago a guy stopped for a family of ducks, but a truck smashed into them killing his wife and daughter. I'm an animal lover myself, but that's how life is, if they're on they road they're gonna get squished one way or another.
