Damn get ready for a hot time. Just use the time as a sauna.
Out of all the things, a thermostat? I understand checking it to see if it works, but playing with it? Are you old enough to live on your own? :/
I LOVE playing with my thermostat. Actually, I love playing with anything that has buttons, knobs, levers, handles etc.
#29, Apparently not.
57- So do I, but I know there are things I should touch unless I have too and thermostats would be one of the thing. But then, that's just me.
60- shouldn't touch
#57 Please don't ever operate a motorized vehicle.
Why does it even go up that high??
Some people like it hot? I've lived in a hostel and the person that ran it told me some of the people from the hotter part of the globe would have their room really hot, just because that's what they are used too.
I've wondered the same thing.
I just feel like that's excessive... It's not really healthy to be in that temperature for extended time is it?
55- it could cause dehydration, heat stroke and all sorts of other things. It wouldn't be the greatest idea to keep having the heat up that high for extended time. Although I do believe that if the place is vey cold, cranking her up high enough to get the heater going would be helpful since I assume it would heat the place faster, but then of course bringing it back to the ideal temperature afterwards.
Most thermostats have covers on them. You should be able to pop off the cover (usually they just snap off, or you have to undo a few screws) and use the little metal prong that's left over from the dial to twist it back. If your fingertips can't grab it, use a knife or something. You probably don't have to call someone about this, it should be able to be fixed by yourself at home.
Why would that make you laugh...?
Because he has a jacked-up/immature sense of humor?
A laugh? Someone's easily entertained.

Smooth...
You're a dumbass. Call someone to fix it, perhaps?
