@perdix So true. I live in Dallas and you can't get ANYWHERE here without a car. Even the train stations are in out-of-the way locations that you have to drive to.
to get revenge on our bus driver, every one of us talk loudly about dealing crack and murder. it freaks him out no not really
I've seen 2 people dragged along by buses, caught in the door!
oh PLEASE. i was a bus driver for 3 years while i was in college. you have to deal with stupid, obvious, common sense questions all day (q: where does this bus go? a: read the damn sign before you get on! q: what time is the next bus? a: read the damn schedule!). you also have to try and keep the bus safe while driving with a headache because all you hear is ppl screaming and laughing and singing wheels on the bus and making fun of you (btw, we can hear EVERYTHING you say while you're talking about us). BUT THE BIGGEST THING is that people expect you to wait at a stop forever, and that if they're running for the bus we can definitely see you. not true. if you're starting to leave and someone runs and forces the door open and squeezes their way in, it's annoying as all hell. did you know that if you force your way into back doors once they're already automatically closing it not only forces the brakes on but it also can break them, making the bus unable to move permanently? ya. you try dealing with that all day. and we CANNOT see you running for the bus when we start closing the doors. there's 40 feet behind us and a 1 foot mirror to see in! even if this isn't the situation, most drivers have justified reasons for being pissed off at passengers all day. they don't randomly get upset. even if you don't realize it, you probably did something highly annoying that you thought was ok (like every other damn passenger). so all of you making fun of bus drivers and saying they're mean and stupid and rude and go hurt them, shut up. because we're in a service industry it's ok to shit on us, right? because we're there to serve your precious needs no matter how annoying and rude you are? YOU try driving a bus all day every day. it's not easy. AT ALL. stop ******** on bus drivers. at least you have a way to get around.
Dude. Most of the bus drivers I've met are pricks just like that. Heres a hint: If you don't want to be a bus driver, don't be a ******* bus driver.
Ydi for being to slow, bus drivers have a schedule you know. :)

You could phone up the bus company and complain about the driver's rudeness. There should be a phone number in the bus stop.
I just noticed the OP's name "insignificant (woman)". +1 to the bus driver
