Today, I was lecturing my high school students on the importance of a good education. I pointed out the janitor in the hall and told them if they didn't stay in school, they'd end up like him. Then one of my students raised her hand and reminded me that the janitor I pointed to was her dad. FML

Today, the mother of one of my students bitched me out about her son's poor grades. He lazes around all day, paying no attention and being a constant nuisance. But, she says it's not his fault, and demands that I give him better grades so he won't get "self-esteem" issues. FML

Today, I lectured my second-grade class to be more descriptive in their writing. I gave them an assignment to describe something in the classroom. I was grading their work later, and one student wrote, "My class is taught by a fat teacher with gray hair." FML

Today, I was sent to an elementary school for safety day. One of the dads was asking about my job, when I told him about the long hours and high stress involved. He turned to his son and said, "Now see why you stay in school?" I'm a paramedic. With a bachelor's degree. FML

Today, I was doing my job and trying to teach a lazy bunch of 16-year-olds. A girl entered the room just 15 minutes before class ended, so I snapped, "Someone had better have died for you to be this late!" She immediately burst into tears. Turns out, someone had. FML

Today, I had to go to my 10 year-old son's school to talk about my job being a chef. As I was almost finished, I asked the kids "What would you like to do when you grow up?" Without hesitation one kid replied with a straight face, "Anything but being a douchebag like you." FML

You teach high school student, chances are they don't even like you and you don't make that much money. If your going to try and criticize at least try to have a 10k a month job. Personally it's janitors that are the nicest people in school. They have to clean up other peoples messes and they still have a smile.

You're a moron. My friends dad is a janitor and he's educated. He had to get out of retirement and take that job because his wife was dying and couldn't pay the bills. So you're a damn idiot for thinking just because someone is a janitor they're uneducated.

At my boys school I tell them they have one week to learn the janitors and cafeteria lady's names. Everyone is as important as a teacher, sadly there are so many teachers unqualified for their job.
