Today, I was playing tennis with my friend. He hit a ball up high, and I slammed it down, thinking there was no way he would get it. Feeling pretty good about it, I turned around to celebrate. As I turned around, I got smacked in my face. He got it. FML

Today, I was playing one on one soccer with a girl like. I accidentally kicked the ball right into her face. The ball rolled back towards me and as I was running to see if she was ok, I kicked the ball… right into her face again. FML

Today, I was showing some new karate moves in the park to my friends. I mimed a punch behind a girl walking past to show my technique and control, but she must have seen me. She turned around and kicked me in the stomach. To add insult to injury, her technique was better than mine. FML

Back it up. Use research. Find PROOF (Not just some site that says it). Or, if you'd rather take the former president of the Filipino American National Historical Society's word for it, you can just admit that you don't know anything, and it's an urban legend that you fell for. Seriously. Read the article I linked to. Yo-yos are entertaining and all when there's nothing to do, but it's definitely not going to impress a girl unless she's like 10 or younger...especially with that trick. I mean when she walks by all she's going to see if you walking around in a circle with a yo-yo stuck to the back of your pant leg. It's not that impressive.
