Aww, that sucks!!! I have horses too, and trust me, I have had many broken bones from them lol. A few sprained ankles from being thrown into a jump, ect. And latest one, getting kicked by my one of my mares foals haha
some of you people are really dumb. Like someone else said it SHOCKS you. I have a horse too & I can grab onto the fence and it doesn't hurt at all.
ouch!
Electric fences are much safer for horses than normal wire ones, or the wood ones. Believe me. They can feel a pulse coming off the electrified wire without even touching it. I've been zapped by them too many times to count, gives you a really weird surge of adrenaline after, and apparently it's good for your heart. Ha.
I started reading this and I thought it was some sort of sex-act. "I put my horse in her pasture" LOL
electric fences are SOO FUN!!!

I've done that before (minus the broken teeth). And anybody who is ignorant enough to think that electric fences are cruel, think again. They prevent the horses from ploughing through the wooden fence which often causes serious and sometimes fatal damage. The electric fence is only a small shock (like a static shock) and they rarely touch it. It protects them from serious injury. Accidents happen people, chill out.
That's a pretty major FYL. Electrocuted and kicked in the teeth by a horse. And probably muddied. Ouch =(
