Anyway there is nothing wrong with crying, or experiencing other strong emotinos during works of fiction. That is completely normal. and usually a sign of a well-written story. But OP should take a close look at their psychological state and relationships if a ficitonal death affects her that strongly. It may be a sign of troubles that run deeper than just being a passionate anime fan.

I feel your pain... I've cried pretty damn hard when my favorite characters die. (And they always seem to do so...) And to everyone freaking out about the fact that she was crying over an anime, CALM THE **** DOWN. Seriously... How would you like it if people were constantly terrorizing you just for the sole reason that you liked something that they deemed 'stupid' or 'a waste of time'? I'm guessing you wouldn't. So stop antagonizing the poor girl.

you guys are such idiots. just because you cry over anime doesn't mean you have no life. it's actually possible to become attached to a specific character in a show and know how to handle the "real world". and believe it or not, it's a lot less sad and pathetic than some people's real lives. so do us all a favor and get over yourselves.
