Today, I was sick on an airplane. As we were taking off, I felt like I was ready to hurl. I was sitting in the window seat and was unable to get up in time to go to the bathroom so I was forced to grab the nearest container to puke in. It was a glass of juice belonging to the woman next to me. FML

Today, on my airplane ride home, the woman next to me wasn't feeling too well. She pulled out the air sickness bag to throw up into and missed. Her vomit splattered all over the seat in front of her and all over me. We were both covered in puke. And that was only my first of two flights. FML

Today, I was on an early flight home after a night of drinking. I was sat in my seat when I started feeling sweaty and nauseous. I grabbed the puke bag and started gagging, then puking, and a really loud fart came out. Everyone heard it. The attendant switched me seat to sit alone. FML

Today, I fell violently ill half an hour into a flight. I got sick so suddenly that I projectile vomited all over my clothes and the seat in front of me, and to top it all off, I also got diarrhea. Eight more hours to go. FML

Today, I traveled by plane for the first time. Once in the air, I was absolutely terrorized by the whole experience. Luckily, they had free booze on board, so I necked some to steady my nerves. Unfortunately, the vodka mixed with air turbulence made me spurt some vomit into my lap. FML

Today, I went on a long flight. I was fortunate enough to sit next to a great girl. However, she must have thought I was not so great, because she moved to the empty seat across the aisle. Next to my dad. Who then told stories about how I always get motion sickness on airplanes. I then threw up. FML

Today, on a plane home from Ireland, my husband who was severely hungover, vomitted in a bag before we took off. When he got up to put the bag in the bin the stewardess forced him to sit back down. I had to hold on to a bag full of vomit for a good few minutes whilst my husband was passed out. FML

Today, I was taking the bus back to my university campus, having left work early feeling sick. While on the bus I started retching. I managed to hold it in for a while, but as I stood up to get off the bus, I started puking through my mouth and nose. This was in front of twenty other passengers. FML

Today, while I was flying on American Airlines back from visiting family, a newborn puked its breakfast all over my HP mini, knocked my orange juice into my lap, then coughed up another layer on top of it all. I couldn't change my pants because of we were about to experience turbulence. FML

Today, I had a several-hour-long flight. I was put in a seat at the very back of the plane. Before the plane even lifted off, a woman took a dump in the bathroom that I stank for the rest of the flight. Whenever I tried to get some sleep, the flight attendant walked past, savagely jostling me. FML

Pssh if I was that lady I would've just been glad you didn't puke on ME. And as a ridiculously frequent flyer (about once a month round trip) I'm going to have to disagree- Not all airlines place barf bags in all the seat backs anymore.

Poor you and poor lady! At least it wasn't on the floor! (Or on anyone's clothes). I hope they got it sorted out before someone had to pay extra for it. Are they cutting costs so much that barf bags are a thing of the past? I haven't ridden a plane since "97.

Yea, I detect bull sh*t. I dont know anyone who's never heard of a barf bag before in the airline, and even if he didn't have one available to him, this happened during takeoff? And the lady is drinking Juice from a glass? Well unless she brought her own glass there's no way in hell a normal spew would fit into those tiny ass glasses. and I'm pretty sure they would let you get up during take off, they would think your a terrorist and its just too dangerous in general, I'm fairly certain about that. FML used to be entertaining, now we just have people who've had minor unfortunate accidents publish their nonsense up here. FML means you got put into a situation that was more than just awkward, it usually means that the situation you were put in would have ended better with you dying because it was that horrible, not because you got a little airsick on a plane.
