Today, I was sitting on a bus. I'm deaf. An old lady looked very angry at me and started talking. Then she looked like she was screaming. I had to type on my phone that I'm deaf. Apparently, I'd been stepping on her foot. She decided to poke me in the eye and type, "Now you're blind too." FML

A lot of deaf people use cell phones to comminicate its faster and easier than signing especially if they weren't taught how to sign in the first place. There are sone phones that when people call it turns their speech into text then turns their text into speech for a resppnse.

I'm deaf and I can read lips very well I also had a surgery so I could hear it doesn't work instantly I need to learn how to understand sounds
