Today, I was talking to my boyfriend on the way to meet him. While chatting, I told him that I had a rip in my favorite jeans. When he sympathetically apologized, I said "It's okay, you're just going to take them off in a minute, anyway." I forgot my mom was in the car. FML

Wow. Stupid. YDI. Unless you were driving how could you forget? And if you were going to meet him anyways you still needed to talk on the phone. Instead of talking to your mom. Don't focus only on your BF. Parents need attention too.

how is it still ok even if he takes them off? they're your favourite jeans...

YDI for being so self-absorbed that you forgot the presence of another human being. Especially since it sounds like she was driving you to see your boyfriend. Otherwise it was clearly a joke so it's not an FML anyway.

why are all these people saying if her mom has to drive her there she's too young to be having sex? 1: she could've been driving her mom somewhere to save petrol 2: in some countries, people only get their driver's license at 18 THINK

And also, in England you have to be 16 to have sex. So she can be old enough to have sex, but too young to drive.

So either you were talking on your cell phone and driving, or your mom was driving and you forgot she was there, which makes you a complete dumbass. Either way you look at it, YDI.

uh. i don't think some people get it. first off, in the UK you HAVE to be 18 or older and even then you have to take a rediculous drives test. Anyway is 18 too young? no. and another thing. We are american living in England so to us, MOM is spelled correctly with an O. I got your back Leah.
