Call out and go to the concert anyway
that's why you never say out loud, what your plans are, and just call in. Maybe have set days off.
The hell I would slap my boss upside his head... Never sell him the tix either!!!
Thus is a form of discrimination. Due to him trying to get the tickets from you can you say lawsuit ?
I'd let him know that the price for him is triple. Anyone else can have them for 75% of original price UNLESS they are taking him. Similar to what #77 said, this is actually a form of extortion. Honestly, I'd quit. It seems the boss doesn't appreciate you and only wants to make your life miserable.
What a selfishly rude boss he is. Seriously, just go to the concert anyway if you still have the tickets.

Sell him a ticket and the other to the most irritating person you know
Photocopy the tickets, sell the photocopies to him, and the real copies to someone worthy of them. Voila.
