Today, I was texting this guy i've liked for a really long time, because of how nice and sentimental he is. We were sending each other things like "You make me smile" and "You're so damn cute" when finally he said "Let's just stop texting and hook up already." So much for sentimental. FML

I would have been a bit more diplomatic and asked you out to lunch or dinner or a movie or afternoon at the park or whatever. just don't do anything you are not ready for. but there is nothing wrong with a date.

He probably meant like officially going out instead of acting like children to shy to confess to the other. And if he meant sex you could have simply said "No thanks. I'm not that type of girl." But I honestly think he meant date wise. Not sex wise.
