There is nothing wrong with having kids back to back guys. Mine are exactly 1yr 4mo apart. Completely planned and no regrets :) Op you'll be fine, your bf is just kind of dumb, & the darn hormones make you see it all 10x worst than it really is. Congrats on the pregnancy!
Medically, having kids back to back puts an immense strain on the mother's body, and may lead to the 2nd child having problems (sometimes autism) because the mothers body wasn't able to fully recover and replenish everything it needs in such a short amount of time.
Bullshit. I had 3 kids in 2 years and 2 weeks. All my kids are perfectly fine. I'd like to see a statistic on what you claim? My two daughters are 10.5 months apart.
Of course nothings wrong! The parents just have to both be ready for it. And in ops case she is the only one prepared. The husband didnt seem to be spending time or watching his child let along helping his sick wife as she carries the next child. God bless your your family! And im glad you have a stable foundation, i wish op had this as well.
It must feel good knowing you are raising a caring and kind child. +1 for being a good mother. :)
dumb the shit head
So your boyfriend is immature a**hole who will let you be sick, yet you chose to be having another kid with him?
He's not really "letting" her be sick...it's due to the pregnancy..he can't just stop her from puking -.-
Was he decent with the first pregnancy? If he was a jerk then too YDI for having a second baby with an asshole.
She must get her compassion from you. Pretty obvious it's not from daddy. ;-)
Ive been dealing with Hyperemesis (severe vomiting/nausea), distinguished from morning sickness by severity, dehydration, and losing at least 5% of pre pregnancy bodyweight (starts earlier and last longer, sometimes well after you've given birth). I had several accidents (where i vomited before i could get to a bathroom, both in my house and sadly in public) before I realized I had to carry a mug on my person at all times - just in case. I thought my s/o was being rather aloof and not very nurturing the first couple weeks BUT it turns out he's a sympathy spewer, cant get within 10 feet of the bathroom or we're both sick, so maybe he just doesn't deal with illness well? I hope he doesnt remain unsupportive throughout your pregnancy, but at least you have a good and helpful child to keep your spirits up.
