Today, I was visiting my daughter, whose husband was still asleep at noon. I made a point of stomping around on the hardwood floor and speaking loudly to wake his lazy ass up. Turns out he's now working a 14-hour graveyard shift, and it has no negative effect on his shoe-throwing skills. FML

What the hell did you do that for?

And you seem to be wanting sympathy votes for being hit with a shoe? Still only thinking of yourself and your opinions... Grow up

OP was definitely in the wrong here, but on the other hand, who throws a shoe at their mother-in-law? That's bound to lead to some trouble.

I would if I was trying to get sleep and working nights. A 14 hour shift means 10 hours off. All you get to do is sleep and its hard to get home, sleep enough, and still have time to shower and get back to work. Aren't you grumpy when someone wakes you up in the middle of the night? It's that much worse when you have to sleep during the day.

Like seriously who does that its his own busniess in the first place to sleep in if he wants hes a grown man u sould like a evil monster in law

I feel bad for the husband. He has you for a mother-in-law. I hope he hit you with the shoe

My mother in law would get pissed at me if I was still asleep at noon so I know how much this would suck for him. You deserve it.

How does that make him a lazy ass? Doesn't it make you a bitch?

Hope he hit you hard! You so deserved it!

You sound like a hateful hag. I hope you're banned from visiting again.

You're a douche, but I think you realized that already

I hope that shoe hit you on the butt on your way out the door...
