Today, I was walking down the street with my friend, one I walk down every day, and I saw a really cute guy nearby. I felt like I looked better than usual, so I turned my head to offer a smile, and walked right into a pole. The impact was strong enough to send me falling to the floor. FML

... so if you walk down this street everyday, why didn't you know about the pole?

If he didn't immediatly offer help while laughing a little, you probably shouldn't bother anyways.

I've done this before - as a child, and not over a guy. I can see how it would happen, but next time, pass the pole first, /then/ turn around. It's safer that way.

Well at least you didn't get a concussion, lol.

How did you not see the pole out of the corner of your eye?

I bet you would have rather walked into his pole. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh

HAHAHAHAHA @ #16 xD I've done that too, it's not that uncommon.

I did that once after a hockey game. I fell back on my a$$. I got a huge bruise on my head, and the hot guy was like "hahah that was priceless"

Someone already said it, but...Peripheral vision is your friend. You can pretty much "see" everything within a 180% radius in front of you if you pay attention to your surroundings...I take it you weren't walkin backwards. Sorry but YDI
