Today, I went to see Terminator. Not wanting to spend an outrageous amount of money at the concession stand, I sneaked a Dr. Pepper into the theater. I thought I had gotten away with it, until I opened the bottle and it exploded all over me and four other people that I didn't know. FML

cans of pop, excluding root beer is the way to go. if you shake them up, just tap them on the top a few times and they should be just fine to open.

Movie food is outrageously priced. I never buy it cuz it's practically robbery. In that respect, I feel for you. On the other hand, what could you have done to the bottle/can to make it that unstable? I'd have waited a minute after carrying it around, just to let it settle. YDI.

I don't blame you, it's absolutely ridiculous to charge something like $5 for a soda like some places do. If we buy that from the theater we have to split the one drink between the whole family, since that's as much of a cost as buying a drink for everyone at any reasonable place. I'd much rather just not eat or drink anything at all than pay that much for a soda, and if my family doesn't get a drink for the family then I just watch the movie and don't buy any concessions. It's not like you need to eat or drink during a movie, it's only 2 hours usually, so whether I sneak something in or not, there's no way I'm buying anything from the concessions at those prices. It's much better to have no drink than to pretty much throw away $5. $1.25 is even a bit much for a soda, but $5? No way. I'm not under any obligation to buy any concessions from you, just because I'm seeing a movie, if you set your prices at 5 times what I would normally consider reasonable...that doesn't mean I will sneak anything in but it usually just means I'd rather go without having anything...

That sucks. When i saw terminator (It was Awesome) and whenever i see any movie, i bring in a big thing of jamba juice, where everyone can see it, and nobody says anything.

yeah I pretty much had a similar story, ending with... in the theater. I thought I had gotten away with it, until I exploded all over my girlfriend and four other people that I didn't know. FML
