Today, I went to see Terminator. Not wanting to spend an outrageous amount of money at the concession stand, I sneaked a Dr. Pepper into the theater. I thought I had gotten away with it, until I opened the bottle and it exploded all over me and four other people that I didn't know. FML

I do this all the time. I'm too cheap to pay 5 dollars for a soda.

What's with the sneaking in?? I bring mine in my hand as I walk in every time, fully visible, and no one has ever said anything. They don't care. I even bring popcorn (Though the popcorn I usually have in a bag.) It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't snuck it in, shaking it in the process. XD Still, at least you got to see Terminator. ;)

How does Dr Pepper explode over four people? That's some scary drink you've got there

Now you see, I actually paid for my drink (also a Dr. Pepper) AND I got to watch the movie in peace. Not that it matters, cause the movie was merely okay. Not amazing, just okay.

YDI for sneaking a drink into the theatre. Concession prices are so high because theatres make almost nothing off ticket sales. Almost all of the price you pay for admission goes to the movie companies. That means the concession is the only real source of revenue for the theatre. That's the reason most theatres are so strict about their outside food and drink policies. If it wasn't for all the ppl that line up at the concession movie ticket prices would likely more than double. All you whiney ppl out there who complain about the prices and are too cheap to pay them aren't paying your fair share. In effect it is almost the same as stealing. The movie companies get their money...but the theatre gets no compensation for the service you are taking from them.

Dr. Pepper always explodes, it's really fizzy. Open it in the parking lot to let out the fizz, then close it back going into the theater.

FML. Who cares if they were sneaking it in? I'm sure everyone does.

i work at an amc theater and we dont care if you bring in stuff as long as its not loud or smells so you dont need to sneak in your sodas.

A normal-sized personal bottle won't explode like that to other people, maybe yourself and a neighbor, but definitely not 4 people. A two liter bottle without waiting a few seconds? Really? YDI.

YOu Got what you DESERVE do you realise how hard it is for people to work to make those things and then you sick douches just swoop it away...FOR FUN. that affects peoples pay checks you sick ****
