Okay seriously, I need my coffee too (not a morning person at all + having to be at work by 7 am = desperate) but I still wouldn't treat an employee like that. Even if they WERE out of coffee, it wouldn't be the baristas' fault, you jackass. Before I've had my morning coffee I don't have the energy to yell at anybody anyway, though.
People like you are the reason I was very happy to quit working at Starbucks after 2.5 years. Learn how to brew coffee yourself. Or chill out for 2 seconds and get an americano. I've had people freak out at me when the brewers were actually broken, and guess what? If you shut up for a minute I can explain about this handy thing called espresso.
pretty much whatever everyone else said, you don't yell, even if you don't have your coffee. :/ YDI.
No one "needs" a cup of coffee to do anything, you would get more energy return from eating an apple. You just sounded like you are addicted and were being cranky cause you couldn't get a fix. Plus, Starbucks is a horrible place any way.
I agree - she's lacking nutrition, not caffeine.
13, I actually just assumed it was a drive-thru Starbucks. I figured thats why the OP didn't notice a bunch of people screaming April Fools straightaway....
I worked at Starbucks for 2 years. The only reason the employees didn't say something smart back to you is because they would have been fired. We ******* hate assholes like you who come in, think you own the world, and then have shit fits if your half caf triple grande, three and a quarter pump caramel, nonfat, extra hot, light whip latte isn't done in about 30 seconds. Newsflash: employees are human beings too, and we like to have a little fun. Additionally, anyone who thinks that Starbucks is out of coffee is clearly a moron.
We had a customer drop her icecream once and she went on a rampage like it was our fault. The whole time we were screaming "WE CAN GIVE YOU ANOTHER ONE FOR FREE." and then stormed out while the other customers were like "you free like 100 times". Tip, don't ever freak out at a cashier, you might miss something important.
I've red a thousand of FML's about people being fired for not speaking politely, and this is all okay?! Weird stuff :O
I agree with a lot of the posters here: don't be such a jackass. Chances are, none of the people making/serving the coffee are the ones responsible for placing shipments, so it wouldn't have been their fault anyways. You're just going to piss off the baristas and make a damn fool of yourself. Also: even if they were out, big deal. There's bound to be other coffee shops nearby (or, crazy thought, brew it yourself at home). And this is coming from a fellow caffeine addict.
wow you're a jerk.

You are an asshole. Why would you be so rude to the employees anyways?
If i'd of been working in the shop i'd of refused to serve you after being so rude.....or added a little something special when making the drink!! hehe!!
