Today, I woke up to my 5-year-old standing over me with a pillow. I asked him what he was doing, and he replied that he and Steve were playing a game, but Steve said I have to be asleep for it. Steve is my son's imaginary friend. I'm convinced Steve wants to kill me. FML

-I would talk to my child about how it is absolutely wrong to kill- -I would also be ready to disincline him strongly based on his level of culpability. -in the back of my mind, yes I would accept it as demonic activity- (would god ever encourage a child to murder someone?) -would then wait to see what happens next. -Cause for alarm? Yes. -Is it a big deal? Not really. You just deal with demonic activity all the time with children. When they act out of line you reprimand them if they are culpable. If they do wrong things without culpability then you teach them the difference between right and wrong. -Getting kids back in line isn't really all that hard. They want to be good by default at that age. You listen to your heart/conscience as you go and genuinely do you best. I've dealt with demons, literally. Just deal with them one by one. After you defeat all your own internal problems, it gets easier to deal with everyone else's baggage/personal demons/skeletons in the closet, or whatever other vernacular people choose to call them.
