Today, I worked a full day and then went to a three-hour class. I got home at 9 PM, and before the door closed I heard, "There's a sink full of dishes for you." There are three able-bodied men in the house, all of whom got here hours ago and created that sink full of dishes. FML

if you did the dishes then YDi for being a pushover and letting them treat you like a doormat. I hope you had some self respect and also treated them like capable people by refusing to do them and let them do them- unless of course you all take turns and it was your turn

OP, if I said this to my SO, I'd be doing the dishes for the rest of the decade. Wait minute, I already do the dishes... LOL

Relax, I wake up at 6, spend 30 minutes getting ready, then have a hour and a half commute. Then school runs from 8am to 5pm. I have rehearsals half the days of the year that go to 9. then I spend a hour and a half going home. Then I have homework. Oh and I'm in 8th grade. FML

If there is a next time, pass the dishes out to each of them, wet and greasy (don't rinse ANYTHING off) and put their asses to work. The ungrateful ***** can piss off if they object.

I remember one time I cooked a huge breakfast for my two brothers (dozen eggs, 2 packages of bacon and biscuits). I told them to save some for me cause I had to go upstairs to shower. I came back 20 min later, ALL the food was gone and they left the dirty dishes on the table and hinted I needed to clean it up. I was so pissed, I started cussing at them, refused to clean the mess and threatened to spit in their food when they wern't looking if they treated me like that again.

well duh.. the kitchen is the womans part if the house. the man makes me mess, the woman takes care of it. that's how it been since the dawn if time.... lol
