Today, it's my birthday. What did I get? A 12-hour work shift, after spending an almost sleepless night in a computer chair because my bed is infested with bed bugs. FML

Today, it’s my birthday. My boss treated me to a day off work, except my mother called at 12:01am drunk as hell screaming, “Happy birthday” down the phone. When I finally fell back asleep, I awoke to my boss asking me to come in after all. FML

Happy birthday OP, sorry it wasn't a good one. You should probably fact check this, but I think if you rent a steam vac you can use that on all your fabrics to kill both bugs and eggs. Should do it once or twice a week for a while to make sure you've got them all. You could try scenting the water with herbs- mint and citrus repel a lot of critters. Boil the water with the herbs in it, fish out the herbs, add to container.
