Today, my boyfriend and I went to a furniture store. We split up for a bit, and after a while I went to find him. A salesman noticed I seemed to be looking around for him and said, "Oh, your son is upstairs." We're the same age. FML

Trying not to start an argument, but I've always loved Tom's lyric writing much better. I just like what Tom is all about with AVA. I am one of the few fans of his voice. But Mark is the man too. Just my personal opinion.

It's not just that, though. It makes sense that the salesman mistook them for family since they're shopping for furniture, but he didn't even assume they were a similar age, like brothers; instead, he thought they were father and son. It must have looked like a sizable age gap between them, unless the salesman just wasn't paying much attention to begin with. Don't feel bad OP! I look perpetually 14. Everyone thinks my sister is my mom, and my mom is my grandma. It's just one of those things...

yeah, that's awkward. today I saw an old friend sitting with two other girls, then I pointed one out and said "is that your mum?" turns out it was her older sister. she didn't look too happy to say the least.. lol. >.
