Today, my boyfriend forgot to pick our son up from daycare. His excuse? Fighting in a battle in World of Warcraft was far more important and he had to stay absolutely focused. Our son had to wait for two hours. FML

My mom (who I no longer see thank god) forgot my sister and me at elementary school for 3 hours one day and it was one of scariest times of my life. Luckily my dad saw us waiting outside while driving by (my parents are divorced) and picked us up and took us to his house.. Thankfully he was at daycare and not just waiting outside. Sorry to hear about this! So sad. Kids are always #1 priority!

There is never a reason for that. I'm not saying that what he did was okay, but it's not like it only happens to completely incompetent people. When you are focused on something, things around you can get forgotten. Again, what he did wasn't okay. If he knew he had to get your son, he should have never started a game

124. Ive actually had to set alarms in games that have no clock. Diablo comes to mind lol. Fortunately WoW DOES have a clock in game and even alarms. Sooooo no excuse.

That is NOT okay. It may seem like a little mistake but parents who forget their kids for even 15 minutes, once, can leave behind a scar! Even as a toddler he will probably remember his whole life the feeling of not knowing where his parents were :(
