You better go for a run or something!!!
I can see both sides to this. People need to remember physical attraction is the first thing that draws a person to the other. The boyfriend could have said it in a more tactful way but many couples (both male and female) tend to let themselves go after they are in a relationship. Yes, the body changes after age, babies etc..... But you still should try to keep fit. For yourself as well.(:
Go jog or walk around the block, you'd be surprised how fast the weight comes off.
You're complaining because you put on enough weight to no longer be appealing, but he's staying with you anyway? What the heck?! Unless you've been going through some emotional distress/ have developed a disease that caused you to gain a *considerable* amount of weight, you need to get over yourself. He has the right to decide if he's attracted to you or not, plain and simple. And if you went from a healthy weight to overweight, he has the right to not like that. Most of us wouldn't be too happy with a negative change like that if our significant other could have done something to prevent it. That being said, if he says hurtful stuff like this all the time, or his comments were unfounded, he's a jerk who doesn't deserve your time. Do yourself a favor and find someone who makes you feel good about yourself. Thumb me down all you want, but if my bf suddenly put on enough weight to look nasty (from bad lifestyle choices and not illness, of course), I would no longer be happy with the way he's treating himself. It's not selfish or shallow to want the best for someone.
Agree
Lol, sorry. I didn't mean to write an essay >.>
my thoughts exactly, he was just really being honest without sugar coating it.

Get rid of the extra useless weight. And by that I mean dump him. Then decide if you're happy with your body.
