Sounds like a variation of the old "you're too good for me" line, which usually means, "there's someone else, but I'm too much of a coward to say so." In other words, there's something else going on there and he was either trying to spare your feelings, avoid a fight, or too dumb to come up with anything better.

I think its just an excuse to break-up with you. I get the feeling you are very nice, caring & beautiful (everything a guy would want in one package) but HE is BORED and wants to explore other possibilities in life (its a GUY thing, you won't understand --- and HARD to explain!). So, the only brilliant excuse he could come up with was ... "your TOO Beautiful." My advice to you is try to find someone esle you deserves you!
